Thank you for visiting www.pelokee.com. Pelokee is a made up word and has been the name of my web experiments for many years now. From blogs, to websites, to social networking sites and beyond, I used a single identity in my goal of learning and experimenting with web technologies just to keep things organized and easily traceable.
Professionally, I am a technology consultant with over 15 years of corporate and private experience in infrastructure, management, process, and improvement. Personally, I have been interested in computing technology ever since my father brought home an IBM 5155 portable PC back in the mid 1980’s. The dawning of the “Internet” for me was when we got a 300 baud Hayes modem! I spent countless hours pouring over dot-matrix printouts of BBS numbers and using Crosstalk to call into everything on the list. Looking back on it, my parents were extremely tolerant about me tying up the phone lines for hours at a time.
Things have come a long way since then, but I am so happy to have been a part of it every step of the way.
This blog represents ideas and information that are more outside of or on the periphery of what I do for a living. Because computer science is so near and dear to me it has naturally become a hobby of mine and thus the basis of most of the information represented here.
What you will you find here are my thoughts, ideas, experiments, reviews, advice, and instructions for what I have found to be useful tools and products.
I welcome your feedback and suggestions. I am always open to answering questions and will do my best to provide an accurate and responsible answer.
If you have questions, suggestions for articles, reviews, tests, etc, please feel free to drop me a note.
Once again, thank you for visiting and I hope you can find some useful takeaways to help your own passion for technology.
